A saddened state of affairs The politics of today frown upon the tears that the young man wears upon his countenance. He walks the streets, drunk, clutching a beer can. As he passes by the socialites he checks his mind at the door of his sanity. What is it, this poor man’s crime that he remains an outcast? Wolves in sheep’s clothing, oh the sinister plot to destroy humanity, we are the problem. Casting food into the garbage heap, what a waste! Do we not see our stupidity for what it is, or we just too greedy? Corporate power and the devil of our own pride; we must see past this distortion. We want to be god and if we aren’t self gratified then to hell with the Truth. This is sadly our morality. The homeless and the least of these are suffering because we care too much for ourselves.
